For more than thirty years, The Machine (https://www.themachinelive.com) has honored and extended the musical legacy of Pink Floyd, earning an international reputation for masterful recreations of the band’s extensive catalog. Hailing from New York, the quartet delivers faithful renditions of both timeless hits and deep‐cut gems across Pink Floyd’s 16‐album repertoire, transporting audiences back to the experimental fervor of the early 1970s while embracing the grand theatricality of the band’s 1980s stagecraft.

With virtuosic musicianship and a passion for collective improvisation, The Machine channels the spirit of early‐era Floyd jams, weaving intricate soundscapes that mirror the adventurous ethos of Waters, Gilmour, Wright, and Mason. Their elaborate visual productions—including immersive lighting designs and striking set pieces—pay homage to the groundbreaking stage shows that defined Pink Floyd’s live legacy. Beyond standard setlists, The Machine is celebrated for full‐album performances by fan request, as well as inventive “A‑Z” evenings in which one song is performed for every letter of the alphabet.

The band has appeared at major festivals such as Bonnaroo, Riverbend, and Gathering of the Vibes, and has shared the stage with full symphony orchestras from Atlanta to San Diego, delivering lush orchestrations alongside the Atlanta, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Jacksonville, Charlotte, Buffalo, and San Diego Symphonies.

Founding drummer Tahrah Cohen anchors the lineup alongside longtime bandmates Scott Chasolen (keys, vocals) and Ryan Ball (guitar, vocals), with Chris DeAngelis (bass, lead vocals) bringing fresh energy to the rhythm section. As The Machine continues to celebrate Pink Floyd’s enduring artistry, they also honor the late Joe Pascarell, who co‑founded the group with Cohen in 1988.
