Spin Doctor guitarist Eric Schenkman’s VizzTone album Who Shot John? showcases the many sides of this complex artist, from raw, rockin’ blues to funk/soul/pop. With a power trio format built around Schenkman’s aggressive guitar and vocals, “Locked In The House All Day” takes a melodic verse that drives into a hooky chorus and a guest vocal from Cheryl Lescom. The video features the band’s live performance as well as some frenetic footage shot on city streets, but it’s obvious that the claustrophobia Schenkman sings about reflects his state of mind.
