Z2 Entertainment is proud to present An Evening with (the music of) Dylan and The Dead featuring the Zimmermans & Dead/Phish Orchestra at the Fox Theatre on Friday, May 25th.  Tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday, April 20th for $10.00 in advance and $12.00 day of show. The Zimmermans are a Boulder-based band that has been bringing the music of Bob Dylan to the Front Range since 2006. Their set blends a healthy mix of iconic songs with some of the hidden gems in the Dylan catalogue, providing something for everyone in the audience. The music is at times rocking, at times funky, and at times soulful, but always energetic. The band’s passion for Dylan’s music shines through at every show, reminding audiences why these songs are still as vital today as they were 30-40 years ago. Formed in 2009 on the front range of Colorado, DeadPhish Orchestra brings an utterly unique perspective to the Jamband and Tribute scene through its seamless blend of Phish and Grateful Dead. The band features former and current members of Great American Taxi, Phix, and Mason's Children, and created significant buzz through their 2011 performance at the Powellapalooza Festival when String Cheese Incident's Michael Kang joined the band for a full set. Audiences are kept guessing with segue-ways such as My Friend, My Friend > Friend of the Devil, Help > Slipknot > Sand > Slipknot > Frankenstein, Antelope > Cumberland Blues > Antelope. Each show is merely a humble attempt to capture the spirit and energy of two great bands whom we have grown up admiring, and have inspired us both musically and personally. DPO features former and current members of Great American Taxi, Phix, and Mason's Children and has set up shop at Quixote's True Blue n Denver, with occasional visits to the mountain towns and appearance in festivals. DeadPhish Orchestra humbly invites you to Split Open and Melt Your Face.
