With the arrival of the first day of Spring, excitement is blooming as we unveil the vibrant lineup for the 33rd Annual Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival of Music & Dance, taking place July 17-20, 2025, in picturesque Trumansburg, New York. This year's event is a music lover's paradise, featuring a diverse and dynamic array of artists including country music royalty Lukas Nelson, the indie-pop enchantment of Lucius, Grammy-nominated Cuban afro-funk powerhouse Cimafunk, the acclaimed bluegrass virtuoso and two-time Grammy nominee Sierra Hull, captivating Côte d'Ivoire performer Dobet Gnahoré, and Malian guitarist and songwriter Vieux Farka Touré. Fans of traditional Irish music and dance will delight in The Byrne Brothers, while festival mainstay Donna The Buffalo warmly welcomes an additional 80 incredible bands representing genres from zydeco and Americana to world music and beyond.

This extraordinary musical lineup also includes must-see performances by Keith Frank & The Soileau Zydeco Band, Jim Lauderdale, The Steel Wheels, Sam Fribush Organ Trio, Keith Secola & His Wild Band of Indians, Flying Clouds of South Carolina, Driftwood, Jennie Lowe Stearns, and Gunpoets, among many others. Each act promises to deliver unforgettable sets filled with rhythmic excitement, melodic beauty, and communal celebration.

In tandem with this exciting news, GrassRoots proudly announces the instructor lineup for the 8th Annual GrassRoots Culture Camp, returning July 13-16, 2025. Scheduled just days before the festival, Culture Camp offers an immersive opportunity to learn directly from beloved GrassRoots artists through workshops and interactive sessions, complemented by unique dinners and exhilarating nightly dances. It's a chance to dive deeply into the heart of GrassRoots culture, enhancing the festival experience by bringing audiences closer to the music and artists they love.
