Having steadily built their reputation on the live circuit as one of the UK country scene's most dynamic duos, prompting comparisons to Fleetwood Mac and Striking Matches, Luke & Mel's 2016 has already proved to be their most successful to date. A fan favorite at Country2Country, they spent the end of April supporting Jess & The Bandits on their UK tour, while simultaneously winning hearts across the country with their new double A-side Bad Habit / Somethin' About A Woman, which has seen them receive support from BBC Regional, Bauer Regional, Amazing and Chris Country.
Following the huge support for the single, the duo are thrilled that leading US publication Taste of Country have today exclusively premiered the music video for Bad Habit. With comparisons to both Striking Matches and Miranda Lambert, the duo are excited to have the video cast their net wider.
With Bad Habit peaking at #4 on the iTunes chart, the duo announced a London show when they paid Gaby Roslin a visit at BBC Radio London last weekend. This morning they are excited to announce that they shall be undertaking a UK Tour with Gary Quinn and special guests, which kicks off in Newcastle on September 5th and visits Glasgow, Manchester and London.
With a busy summer ahead, they are also excited to hit the festival circuit once again this year, with performances at FSA Fest, Rock Ridge Roundup, TowerFest, Buckle and Boots and Dart Music Festival, the duo are currently building towards the a deluxe edition release of their award winning debut EP to coincide with the tour.
