Pink Talking Fish, known for their unique fusion of Pink Floyd, Talking Heads, and Phish, has a reputation for creating unforgettable experiences. This summer, the band took their creative vision to new heights with a performance that pushed the boundaries of their concept. On July 13th, in the midst of their summer tour, PTF headlined the Dead Of Summer Music Festival in Manchester, VT, as "Pink Talking Fish Ensemble," delivering one of their boldest performances to date.

The PTF Ensemble transformed into a 12-piece band for the occasion, presenting a complete rendition of the Grateful Dead's iconic album "Terrapin Station," ingeniously woven into Phish’s classic “Divided Sky.” The core members of Pink Talking Fish—Eric Gould on bass, Cal Kehoe on guitar, Zack Burwick on drums, and Steve Learson on keyboards—were joined by a stellar lineup of musicians, including:

  • Adrian Tramontano (Twiddle/Kung Fu) on second drums/percussion
  • Sammi Garett (Remain In Light/Cool Cool Cool) on vocals/percussion
  • Joe Agnello (Dead Set/Swimmer) on guitar/vocals
  • The Wolfpack: a five-piece string and brass section featuring:
    • Alex Kelly - Cello
    • Mads Tolling - Violin
    • Adam Theis - Trombone
    • Brian Switzer - Trumpet
    • Sheldon Brown - Tenor Sax/Flute
