Bonfire Entertainment, WinterWonderGrass and Adrift Dinosaur are thrilled to bring RiverWonderGrass back for its third annual season of overnight multi-day music expeditions featuring artists from the WinterWonderGrass community and jam-packed adventures through rivers, canyons and caves where Colorado and Utah meet.

Beginning May 22nd, 2022 through September 11th, 2022, trips will take place at Dinosaur National Monument over the course of 5 days in Yampa and 4 days at The Gates of Lodore.
The one-of-a-kind multi-day excursions are a perfect blend of music, rivers and canyons, bringing together members of the WinterWonderGrass community on a journey through the heart of the desert. Empty sandy beaches, outlaw caves, majestic hikes, thrilling whitewater and silent floats are combined with healthy food, healing arts and space to reconnect the inner spirit far from cell service. Official musical performances occur each evening, plus improvisational jams for an unrivaled adventure.
"When the music industry shut down, we pivoted to a place that welcomed and inspired us, the remote canyon country," says founder Scotty Stoughton. "These 20-person expeditions take you deep into the backcountry, with no cell service or digital interference, just clean water, empty beaches, waterfalls, lush hikes, homemade food and sweet music. Not only do the artists perform each evening around the fire, they pop up with fresh coffee in the mornings, and along the river. These journeys deliver you back to yourself!"
All RiverWonderGrass floats operate within National Park Service guidelines, including a nightly 10:00 PM curfew. The trips are limited to 20 guests and include all fresh meals, equipment, guides, and music, with complimentary brews at camp each night.
Soulful singer-songwriter Lindsay Lou adds, "Last year, the back-to-back river trips completely transformed my perspective in a positive way. I'm looking forward to singing in the river canyon again and listening to the river sing to me."
The 2022 installment will feature an array of bluegrass and roots artists such as Fruition, Kitchen Dwellers, Pickin' on the Dead, Pixie and the Partygrass Boys, Cris Jacobs and Friends, The Sweet Lillies, Tyler Grant, Lindsay Lou, RiverWonderWomen and many more.
String-Americana trio, The Sweet Lillies, are looking forward to returning to the river. "Our first RiverWonderGrass experience last year was phenomenal! The magical memories and deep camaraderie formed kept us afloat with joy all year."
