Sticking true to their commitment to community and goal of consistent giving, festival organizers Rootfire, Ineffable Live, and Deuterman Productions have announced that 100% of ticket proceeds from the upcoming Rootfire at the Park will be donated to Hurricane Irma relief efforts. Returning to Cocoa Beach for the second year, the weekend-long outdoor music and lifestyle festival is set to take place at the scenic Cocoa Riverfront Park, with top-tier headliners including Stephen Marley, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Shaggy, and Citizen Cope.
The Rootfire mission to positively contribute to their community is put into full practice with the recent donation announcement. With damage and displacement across the state, Rootfire hopes to ease relief efforts while providing upbeat music, an immersive active lifestyle experience. Speaking on the decision to give back to the community, Rootfire General Manager Reid Foster stated “Rootfire is about building communities and helping each other out. Hurricane Irma hit our community pretty hard, so it's a no-brainer that we pivot away from the for-profit model and put these proceeds back into relief efforts.”
Rootfire At The Park is not just a music festival that focuses on presenting a well-curated musical lineup, it’s an active lifestyle event that provides a fully immersive outdoor experience for family and friends, both old and new. On the events schedule is a soccer garden party for all ages hosted by Mill Valley Soccer Club and yoga (for all levels) every day before the music kicks-off. Kids and adults, can enjoy the refreshing splash pad and kids ages 12 and under are free when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Other details extend beyond these activities and include free sunscreen, games, and a kid-zone. The event will also highlight craft vendors who create thoughtful food, and local vendors who keep the energy close to home. In the beverage world, the term craft is extended to not only cover quality beer and wine, but to also offer a place to enjoy other beverages ranging from kombucha to kava kava, and more.
While weekend long tickets start at only $89, the release of daily lineups, listed below, will help fans plan out their schedule and, with early-bird single day tickets still available, presents fans a way to make sure they don’t miss their favorite act.
