Determined to end on the highest note possible, organizers are pulling out all the stops for the last two weekends. New Exhibits, Flash Mob Performances, and bands from as far away as Seattle and Florida are scheduled to perform.
For the final two weekends bands from Seattle, Tuscan, Los Angeles and Florida will make the journey to join in on the fun. Back by popular demand two California bands Token Rhyme and Shakedown String Band are returning for another go around. Complete daytime and late night music schedules are listed below.
A few surprise performances are in the works for the final weekends. Flash Mob Drum Circles are expected to return for at least one final performance and a special Second-Line, a New Orleans style marching brass band performance, to commemorate the 29th anniversary of Jerry Garcia’s passing, on Fri Aug 9th is in the works.

Jack has done official posters for Furthur, Bob Weir and has had his art used on stage with Dead And Co. Receiving his training from The Visionary Academy of Art in Europe, Jack has been featured in exhibitions at studios and installations in Singapore, Amsterdam, New York City and Los Angeles to name a few. He is known for his vibrant and surrealist paintings that mix psychedelic culture with fine art. Jack will be exhibiting his art and offering prints and other merchandise for sale in person each day Aug 1st, 2nd and 3rd. You can learn more about Jack at www.jackshureart.com.
**Jack has graciously provided a few Limited Edition Posters to the promotions staff for a special giveaway. Along with free promotional barf bags and poker chips given away to the first 100 people who come through the doors of Shakedown Vegas everyday next weekend, attendees will also be given a number. With a drawing 30 min later, a couple lucky attendees will receive one of these Limited Edition Posters.
Each Dead & Company Concert show day, the pre party starts at the Tuscany Suites and Casino at 11:am with the opening of the main ballroom for attendees to poke around. One hour later, at 12pm, live music starts in the Piazza Lounge and continues until 5pm. The Shakedown Vegas ballroom with a plethora of unique vendors along with live performances from buskers, bands and drum circles, stays open until 7pm. The party starts back up immediately following the concert's end with Shakedown After Dark in the Copa Room, at 11:30pm. Some nights the music has kept going past 3am! The Copa Room often reached capacity with attendees spilling out into the casino and lobby areas. It is without challenge that Tuscany has become the pre and post headquarters party scene.
