As the year draws to a close, Anyma makes his Las Vegas debut with his residency, Afterlife presents Anyma ‘The End Of Genesys’ live at Sphere December 27-31, 2024 and January 1, 10 & 11, 2025. As Sphere’s first electronic artist residency, Anyma has invited an exciting array of talent to join him at the groundbreaking venue. After an astonishing sell-out for the six upcoming Afterlife presents Anyma ‘The End of Genesys’ shows at Sphere in Las Vegas, two new dates for the residency have been added for January 10 and 11, 2025. A genre leader heralded for his critically-acclaimed albums Genesys and Genesys II, as well as his high-caliber live shows, Anyma is the multidisciplinary music and contemporary art project helmed by Matteo Milleri, operating at the compelling intersection between art, technology, and music.

In the shadowed recesses of a desert oasis, where the neon lights of Las Vegas flicker like distant stars, Dead and Company brought their grand odyssey to a close on the evening of August 10th, 2024. It was a night that whispered of echoes, of journeys past and present, and of a legacy that refuses to be silenced.

Renowned Grateful Dead drummer and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Mickey Hart, in collaboration with Terrapin Station Entertainment, is thrilled to announce a special art exhibit and digital auction. The event celebrates their involvement in the Dead & Co. Dead Forever Experience and honors Jerry Garcia’s birthday on August 1st.

Determined to end on the highest note possible, organizers are pulling out all the stops for the last two weekends. New Exhibits, Flash Mob Performances, and bands from as far away as Seattle and Florida are scheduled to perform.

For the final two weekends bands from Seattle, Tuscan, Los Angeles and Florida will make the journey to join in on the fun. Back by popular demand two California bands Token Rhyme and Shakedown String Band are returning for another go around. Complete daytime and late night music schedules are listed below.

Music Factory Records recording artist Ari Joshua is set to bring his vibrant and eclectic sound to the heart of Shakedown Street at the Tuscany Casino's Copa Room. As part of the Dead & Co after-party festivities during their Spheres 2024 residencies, the Ari Joshua Band will be performing on July 5th and 6th from 11 PM to 3 AM both nights.

After last week's hugely successful Shakedown event, daytime music in the Piazza Lounge has been extended thru July!! Before or after strolling through Shakedown attendees are encouraged to relax in the air-conditioned Piazza Lounge and enjoy tunes from some of Vegas' best Jam Bands, starting at noon every show day! & Then come back after the concert for our Shakedown After Dark Series. (Free Concert Parking at The Tuscany!)

I didn’t plan on going to the Sphere to see Dead and Company (a.k.a. “Dead & Co.”) during their months-long “Dead Forever” residency. But after missing U2 and Phish during the inaugural year of the high-tech Las Vegas arena, it was high time I went to check out the uber-visual experience. It doesn’t hurt that Dead & Co.

Moving indoors and taking over the Convention Space/Ballroom last week proved to be a big hit with attendees and vendors alike. Using the entire main ballroom and some space in the entryway to create a “Shakedown” atmosphere, similar to the outside version in previous weeks, was a huge success. Featuring over 80 vendors from all over the country, the organizers are now having to turn away new vendor applicants.
