Boulder-based fine cannabis extract producer Green Dot Labs announced today the release of its first live resin pen, a collaboration with legendary electronic music collective STS9. The Gobnugget Pen Limited Release and Golden Ticket Giveaway drops at select adult-use dispensaries across Colorado on January 25 to coincide with the band’s intimate Winter Tour concert series in Telluride (Jan. 31) and Aspen (Feb. 1-3). The limited release offers an exclusive first look at Green Dot Lab’s long-awaited Black Label live resin pen line in advance of an official March 2018 launch.

Channeling the expansive vibe of STS9’s classic bass-heavy live jam "Gobnugget,” the 500mg cartridge pen combines two intense, terpene-rich Black Label varietals: Citradelic Sunset (Ghost Train Haze x Mandarin Sunset) and Bottlewash (Wookie x OZ Kush). Together they create a psychedelic flavor profile with vivid, unexpected notes of lavender, lime, and grape soda. The creative collaboration continues with a special edition, black-and-gold box that echoes band’s extraterrestrial aesthetic and was designed with their guidance.

As with STS9's and Green Dot Labs' first collaboration, the Artifact Edition Limited Release, the Gobnugget Pen partnership will include a special Golden Ticket Giveaway. In Aspen and Durango, one box will hold a Golden Ticket for two tickets to STS9’s local Winter Tour shows at Club Red in Telluride on Jan. 31 or Belly Up in Aspen on Feb. 1. In both Denver and Boulder, a Golden Ticket winner will receive the Mission Control Pack, a special collection of limited-edition STS9 gear including a Sound Device synth and a Golden Record medallion. Everyone who purchases a pen will get access to a free download from the band's "Real or Imagined New Year" Winter Tour run.
