Watchhouse, The Devil Makes Three, The Travelin’ McCourys & Sierra Hull Headline festival with more acts to be announced

The 38th Annual Old Settler’s Music Festival announces their exciting partial lineup including Americana folk-duo Watchhouse, The Devil Makes Three, bluegrass all-stars The Travelin’ McCourys, mandolin phenom Sierra Hull, local favorites Heartless Bastards, Tim O’Brien Band, Darrell Scott, Tray Wellington Band, Jack Barksdale, Jeff Plankenhorn, Grace Rowland (of the Deer), Katie Shore, Harvest Thieves, Fennario Flats, Shred Lasso and Valley Flower with more to be announced soon. The annual family gathering of music, camping and picking circles, will take place April 24-27, 2025 just 45 minutes south of Austin Texas, and 12 miles southeast of Lockhart.

Early Bird ticket passes are available now with daily tickets available closer to the event. There is a variety of different camping experiences, including shaded tent camping, car camping, and RV sites with or without power hookups. Hotels and AirBnBs are also available nearby in Lockhart, Texas.

This year the roots music event brings back the Youth Talent competition, and will have a second stage for workshops, open mic and side stage shows. Amenities include onsite parking, kids activities, a variety of food offerings, and partially electrified campgrounds powered by renewable green energy. About Old Settler’s Music Festival

Old Settler’s has grown from a one-day bluegrass festival in 1987 into a nationally renowned four-day event attracting loyal music fans. Many return annually for amazing performances by both legendary and up-and-coming bluegrass, folk and Americana artists such as Jason Isbell, Brandi Carlile, Béla Fleck, Jerry Douglas, the War and Treaty, Alison Krauss, Los Lobos, the Jayhawks, Milk Carton Kids and the McCrary Sisters, and local favorites including Sarah Jarosz, Shakey Graves, Ray Wylie Hubbard and Shinyribs.
