Chicago singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Wes John Cichosz (pronounced Chee-Hoas), who performed regularly with members of Tortoise and Wilco in the 90s, has dropped his sophomore record The Moon Threads a Needle.
The Moon Threads a Needle, which weaves elements of rock, blues, jazz and folk into an intensely personal album, has received airplay on WRBC, WLUW, UIC Radio, CHIRP and 103.9 The Fox, and Cichosz has been interviewed on WXRT and WZRD.
The album has also received acclaim on a number of Websites and blogs, including JP's Music Blog, Deep in the Music, Beehive Candy, Radio One Chicago and Floorshime Zipper Boots, and Wes has been featured on Revolution 360, A Chicago Thing and Artbeat.
Cichosz has played to packed rooms at some of Chicago's top venues, including Martyrs', Uncommon Ground and House of Blues, and will be performing at several Chicago festivals this summer.
