Elevation Festivals, creators and producers of the Midwest's largest contemporary music festivals announced today that they will bring one of their "Wonder" branded music events to Pittsburgh this coming Memorial Day weekend.
WonderWorks Music Festival will debut May 27-28, 2023 at Allegheny County's Hartwood Acres Park.
Each year, Elevation presents WonderStruck in Cleveland, WonderRoad Indianapolis and the WonderBus Music & Arts Festival in Columbus. Wonder festivals are two and three-day music events, feature between 25 and 30 musical performers, including global, national and local artists, entertain thousands of music enthusiasts while also raising money for various causes.
On Saturday, May 21, 2022 Elevation staged a one-day multi-act, multi-stage music event at Hartwood Acres featuring Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Black Pumas, Lake Street Dive, Elle King, Noah Kahan and others. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette said: "There’s nothing like it (in Pittsburgh), a one-day buffet of high-caliber national acts…" The Beaver County Times stated: “Festival organizers thought of just about everything…It was well-planned and fun."
Other past Elevation Wonder festival lineups in Ohio and Indiana have included: The Lumineers, Lorde, Duran Duran, Vampire Weekend, Kesha, Sheryl Crow, The Head and The Heart, Hozier, Foster The People, O.A.R., Brandi Carlile, Lord Huron, Wilco, Gary Clark Jr., Bastille, Chvrches, Lewis Capaldi, AJR, Third Eye Blind, Young The Giant, Stephan Marley, Michael Franti, Jason Isbell, Black Pumas, Portugal. The Man, Walk The Moon, The Revivialists, Trombone Shorty, Elle King, Ben Harper and more.
Elevation will announce the full WonderWorks lineup in the new year.
