Driftless Music Gardens is proud to announce the return of The BoogieDown Music Festival, taking place September 11th through 13th, 2025. Celebrating four years of live music, community, and the great outdoors, the festival promises an unforgettable weekend of camping, workshops, and performances in beautiful Yuba, Wisconsin.

Festival Highlights

The rowdy, piano-playing front man Andy Frasco, along with his skilled band known as the UN, graduated to Irving Plaza on February 28, 2025. After multiple stints at the smaller Brooklyn Bowl, Frasco and the UN sold out this well-known venue near Union Square in New York, New York, with a 1,200-person capacity. There was no shortage of guests on this stop of Frasco's Try Not To Die 2025 tour.

Shoe Fest is thrilled to announce the lineup for its 13th annual celebration, taking place over Labor Day weekend (August 30 – September 1, 2024) at the picturesque Camp Shaw-Waw-Nas-See in Manteno, IL. This year’s festival will feature multiple-time Grammy winner Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, as well as newcomers Ghost-Note and Neighbor. The event will also see the return of long-time favorites Cornmeal, featuring Allie Kral for the first time in 12 years, and the Kyle Hollingsworth Band from The String Cheese Incident.

Still firmly rooted at Three Sisters Park over Memorial Day weekend, Solshine Reverie navigated the rebranding challenge to meet the expectations of Scampers. The times they are a changin’.

As the moon slid gracefully between the Earth and the sun, the sky transformed into a masterpiece of deep indigo. A transcendental shade, indigo knows and holds the universe's secrets within its depths. The celestial dance summoned the wizard of cosmic wonders, weaving a tapestry of wonder together for all who bravely gazed upon its majesty.

WOW, what a lineup of incredible musical talent the Mighty Mishawaka Amphitheatre presented Friday night at the Poudre Canyon venue. The amount of diversity and talent each musician brought to the stage was staggering on many levels. The uniqueness of this show was that all of the artists know one another and are friends and some of them collaborate together on musical projects. That alone presented a fun family communal vibe on site and magical moments on stage.

Whatever you do, don’t go to Shoe Fest. Camp Shaw Waw Nas See is basically forgettable. The string-based bands all play at their own slots with no overlapping music. You’ll hate it.

On February 25th, jamgrass pillars Yonder Mountain String Band will release their 9th studio album, titled Get Yourself Outside. This latest creation is eleven tracks of talent that reveal that after nearly a quarter century, this group still has what it takes to deliver on songwriting, composition, and studio proficiency.
