Tulsa, Okla. Americana singer-songwriter Joey Frendo has shared his latest single "Wild Pilots" today, ahead of an April 21 release for his debut full-length LP Bound for Heartache (Horton Records). Frendo shared the first single from the album at PopMatters in February, and "Wild Pilots" premiered at Americana Highways earlier this week.

“It's your classic ‘guy gets kidnapped while playing a board game and thrown into a cage to see his favorite band’ kind of story,” laughs GLITTER WIZARD bassist KANDI MOON about their new video for “She’s A Star.” Inspired by '70s and '80s grindhouse horror films, comic books, video games and fantasy board games (In this case the classic Dungeon Degenerates), the  video releases today alongside their brand new glam flavored EP Kiss The Boot via Kitten Robot Records. LOCKDOWN is the new album from 60’s-inspired instrumental combo Trabants. Coming on the heels of their epic 2019 spaghetti western full length, Nel Cuore Di Una Terra Selvaggia (translated: In the Heart of a Savage Land), Lockdown is comprised of 10 original blues instrumentals recorded in 2 parts. The album represents a shift for the group known more for their surf and garage sound.

A powerful new voice of Southeast Africa, Malawian singer and songwriter Keturah announces her debut self-titled album, coming May 19, 2023 on Hen House Studios. A well known celebrity in her own country, Keturah traveled to America for the first time to record her album in Venice Beach, Los Angeles, featuring members of the Playing for Change Band. Playing for Change is also debuting the music video for Keturah’s first single, “Kwanumkwanu”, which they recorded live at Mark’s Park.

World-famous French Nordic folk collective SKÁLD released their highly anticipated third album HULDUFÓLK in January via Decca Records France / Decca Records U.S. (UMG). The songs transport listeners into the band’s mystical soundscape using traditional Old Norse instrumentation and language while sharing Scandinavian legends from poets and shamans of otherworldly beings, aka the “Huldufolk” (translated to “hidden people”), coexisting with humankind.

Four Chicago bluesmen, a Mississippi juke joint king, a blues queen, and a folk-blues icon are those being inducted into The Blues Foundation's Blues Hall of Fame, 43rd class. Those honored have made the Blues timeless through performance, documentation, and recording. Since its inception in 1980, The Blues Foundation has inducted new members annually into the Blues Hall of Fame for their historical contribution, impact, and overall influence on the Blues.
