Asleep at the Wheel
Over the past decade, St. Louis band Brothers Lazaroff has grown its annual Hanukkah Hullabaloo into one of the year's most popular holiday events. Unveiled for this year is a new celebrity-packed, Livestream show as The 10th Annual Brothers Lazaroff Hanukkah Hullabaloo: A Virtual Miracle kicks off Saturday, December 12 at 8 PM EST.
All of the greats were ahead of their time; Archimedes, Nikola Tesla, The Beatles. The Grateful Dead meshed string band music and rhythm & blues to create an entirely new scene and the Rolling Stones carried a rock and roll torch into stadiums and onto television screens worldwide, but in the world of Americana music and Texas’s cosmic outlaw country, there was one group telling old stories and rallying new fans well before those genres even had a name—Asleep at the Wheel.
As Luck would have it... we’re bringing Willie Nelson’s annual 4th of July Picnic to the people this year; part Picnics past, part what’s to come, and all in the spirit of the Picnic’s storied history. On July 4th, starting at 3:30 pm Central, fans will be able to enjoy interviews with characters from the Picnic’s past, and see new, live performances from their favorite Luck Family artists.

This event is a rare opportunity to see brother sister duo, Sean and Sara Watkins, as Watkins Family Hour, a project they started in 2002 in Los Angeles to try out some original songs and a few covers that wouldn’t work in Nickel Creek.
