Beats Antique

It’s impossible to describe Beats Antique using just a single genre. One listen to their forthcoming album, Shadowbox (released on their own Beats Antique Records imprint), and their unique hybrid of sound makes perfect sense; their ability to blend so many different kinds of music in to an incredibly vibrant, distinctive and peerless album is what this band has been doing for the past ten years.
 

Celebrating ten prolific years with their tenth studio release, the Bay Area’s Beats Antique has prepared an epic cross-country tour leading through the New Year, taking the trio of David Satori, Sidecar Tommy, and Zoe Jakes between historic venues and festivals like Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre, New York’s Irving Plaza, Louisiana’s Voodoo Music + Arts Festival, and beyond.
 

The ever-changing Everyone Orchestra and its ringleader Matt Butler is a carnival collective of musicians juggling their instrumental talents in an all-out improvised landscape.

San Francisco's Beats Antique has released a cover of the Hunter/Garcia gem New Speedway Boogie. This version includes Clint Maedgen of the Preservation Hall Jazz Band on vocals and sax.

After all of the madness and Halloween tricks and treats that happened less than a week ago, not many people were ready for another costumed dance party. But, for those who were into the mid-week fun, there was a special treat waiting.
