The KBCO Studio C archive will release18 new songs exclusively performed live on 97.3 KBCO starting at 8am, December 7th at nine select Colorado Whole Foods Market Front Range locations. Honoring its 31st year, the annual KBCO charity CD will feature 18 songs recorded live on the air from the Denver/Boulder radio station’s performance studio.

An annual tradition as a highly sought-after collectors’ item, thousands of loyal KBCO fans line up each year to purchase the latest KBCO Studio C CD for a unique holiday gift. KBCO Studio C Volume 31 CD will be sold for $12.00.

Ah. Summer festival season is coming to a close very soon but not without one more trip to Infinity Downs & Oak Ridge Farm in Arrington, Virginia.

On Sunday be sure to wake up early to catch the barefooted, Keller Williams lead LOCKN in some Grateful Dead tunes with his “Grateful Gospel” group. If you’re looking for some soul, then St. Paul & The Broken Bones are the ticket at the 5:30 PM slot on The Main Stage. Closing out the seventh annual LOCKN Festival will be Bob Weir & The Wolf Bros. (Jay Lane & Don Was) featuring Susan Tedeschi & Mikaela Davis.

Illustrious musicians from the vanguard to the nostalgic, some of who began plying their craft in the ‘60s, and others who are poised for big recognition in the 2020s, all shared a distinctive Southern California seaside aesthetic at the inaugural BeachLife Festival May 3 to 5. BeachLife, the biggest fest ever to blast its jukebox along the Santa Monica Bay at Redondo Beach, combined sun, sounds, sand, and surf and passed its acid test with flying colors.

The KBCO Studio C archive is releasing 7 new songs on vinyl for Record Store Day!  KBCO Studio C Groove Show Volume 1 will go on-sale with a very limited number of records on April 13th exclusively at Twist & Shout Records in Denver. 

The final day of Lockn’ 2018 dawned hot and sweaty and ended in spectacular fashion with two sets by Dead and Co., joined by master saxophone player Branford Marsalis. A cloudy sky kept the atmosphere steamy until the afternoon when the hot summer sun broke through. Keller Williams got the MainStage started just after noon with a different entourage in tow than from the day before. This time he appeared with a group he calls the Grateful Gospel. The idea was to play music in the spirit of Jerry Garcia in the tune of Black Gospel music. The concept was born at Lockn’.

Following the launch of their 30th anniversary year with a six-night residency in the famed Caesars Palace of Las Vegas (Feb. 22 - March 9, 2017), GRAMMY award-winning band Blues Traveler will return to the road for a 2017 spring tour. The 18-date tour will commence in Pocola, Okla. on Friday, April 7 and culminate at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Sunday, May 7.

GRAMMY® Award-winning band, Blues Traveler, will perform a six-night limited engagement at the iconic Cleopatra’s Barge at Caesars Palace with a unique Vegas show, “Blues Traveler: Unhooked,” Feb. 22 through March 9, 2017.

It was red noses all around on May 22 in Southern Sonoma County, as thousands converged at the Mountain Event Center to celebrate Wavy Gravy in merriment and song on the occasion of his 80th birthday.
