Cervantes' Masterpiece Ballroom

Few acts catapult their way to the forefront of modern rock music the way Boston-based quartet Neighbor has over the past few years. Sparking from faint whispers and circulating primarily through word of mouth, rumors began to swirl about four eccentric musicians from the East Coast creating stand-alone euphoric melodies with shades and flavors of the 1960’s & 70’s, blended seamlessly through modern psychedelia.

Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom is a hallmark Denver venue featuring a unique wrap-around balcony and two rooms that offer live music simultaneously: Cervantes’ Other Side. Each room operates independently of the other, but they are connected, which gives patrons the freedom to venture back and forth between each room.

Based in New York City, nineteen-year-old Brandon Niederauer, nicknamed “Taz” for his ferocious guitar playing, has had the opportunity to play with many of his musical idols.

For a little over two decades, The Motet have cultivated a fervent fanbase through immaculate live performances and a seamless blend of funk, jazz, soul, and rock. This unique style and cohesive musical chemistry have led to sold-out shows across the nation - including six headlining slots at Red Rocks and sets at festivals such as Bonnaroo, Bottlerock, Electric Forest, Bumbershoot, Summer Camp, and High Sierra.

Within five minutes of speaking with Daniel Donato, I knew that the two of us would most likely have a difficult time keeping the conversation brief. Donato has the type of mind that makes me want to stay up all night talking well into the wee hours of the morning. He is the kind of guy who makes me want to start a podcast, or write a book. Carl Jung and his process of self-individuation, the 7 Hermetic Principles, all things philosophy, creativity, and spirituality— these topics light me up.

Cervantes' Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver, Colorado got its spook on this Hallo-weekend by hosting the first ever “Oogie Boogie” with TAUK, Dopapod, and many more. The jam-packed two-night run featured several artists such as Many Colors, DJ Logic & Friends, Moon Hooch, Ethnos, Cycles, Dopapod and TAUK featuring Kanika Moore.

The time honored tradition of bands playing after Phish was alive and well in Denver, Colorado, as not one, but two bands kept the party going upon the conclusion of the Dick's Sporting Good Stadium event at both Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom and Cervantes Other Side last Friday night.

Cervantes' is thrilled to present our first ever All Day / All Night event on May 14th at Cervantes' Other Side and Patio! Doors will open at 1pm with music starting immediately and going late into the night. During the daytime, patrons will get to wander through displays from many different vendors and artists, both nationally recognized as well as local up and comers offering clothing, craft, and fine art goods.
