On Monday, August 19, Alligator Records artist Chris Cain will premiere the new video for his song, Blues For My Dad. The song is from Cain's celebrated new release, Good Intentions Gone Bad. The new album finds Cain operating at the absolute peak of his powers, with producer/studio whiz/multi-instrumentalist/video producer (and guitarist for Rick Estrin & The Nightcats), Christoffer "Kid" Andersen pushing him to new heights every step of the way.

On Friday, July 19, 2024, Alligator Records will release Good Intentions Gone Bad, the first release in three years from award-winning guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Chris Cain. Good Intentions Gone Bad is Cain's second Alligator album, and the 16th of his career. It will be available on CD, red vinyl LP, and at all digital services.

World-renowned blues guitarist, vocalist, songwriter and Alligator Records recording artist Chris Cain has won the 2021 International Songwriting Competition in the Blues category for his original song I Believe I Got Off Cheap. The song originally appeared on Cain's 2021 Alligator Records debut album Raisin' Cain. UK tastemaker magazine MOJO named Raisin' Cain the #3 Best Blues Album of 2021.
