There are so many good reasons why I am about to talk up this year’s 9^th Annual Sonic Bloom Festival, which took place in a new location called the American Safari Ranch in South Park, CO during the summer solstice.

This past weekend, Shadows Ranch, a wooded valley flanked by two steep mountain sides a stones throw away from Georgetown, Colorado was transformed from a tranquil hidden gem of the Rockies into what can best be described as an energy center. On paper Sonic Bloom is a music festival, but in the flesh (so to speak) it is a platform for expression and a point of dissolution of the boundary between artist and audience.

Feather & Leathers unite!  A gathering of gladiators tribes under a full strawberry moon took place at Sonic Bloom 2010, June 25^th -27^th at Mishawaka Amphitheatre.  What they believe is real with the twirl of the hula-hoop, the sphere of the glow sticks and the glow of the body pain
