Jim James and The Claypool Lennon Delirium have announced plans for a summer 2019 co-headline tour. The two acts will join forces for nine dates across the United States and Canada - beginning June 21 at Salt Lake City's Eccles Theater and then continuing into early July.

The Jim James Presents Uniform Distortion tour - which sees James backed by his longtime live band - begins May 1 at Charleston, SC's Charleston Music Hall and then continues through the month. James - who has only just wrapped up a series of intimate European headline shows - will bring his first full band performances of last year's Uniform Distortion along with selections from his entire catalogue to U.S.
Nashville’s Brandy Zdan has released “Get to You” the second single from her forthcoming album Secretear out May 11 on Tallest Man Records. The first single” I Want Your Trouble” released in March has garnered Zdan comparisons to female rockers who write big hooks like Chrissie Hynde and the GoGo’s.

This year's Forecastle Festival was a success despite extreme weather. Due to heavy rains leading up to the festival, the rising Ohio River threatened the structure of stages close to the water. A windstorm on Friday shut down headliner Sam Smith's performance early and caused a two-hour delay on Saturday. Throughout the weekend, however, the extreme heat was the talk of most festivalgoers. Thankfully, the crew hosting the event was phenomenal.
The revival of the venerable Newport Folk Festival continued with a very strong roster of artists this year that expanded once again the boundaries of what is “folk music.” Folk purists – the kind of people who booed Dylan when he went electric at the 1965 festival (this year was the 50th anniversary of that iconic set) – would probably have seen their heads explode if they caught My Morning Jacket’s surprise set on first night of this year’s gathering.
Quickly becoming one of the most anticipated music festivals in the nation, The Forecastle Festival is back for another big year with headlining acts Sam Smith, My Morning Jacket, and Widespread Panic down on the waterfront in Louisville, Kentucky on July 17-19. Other promising performances include Modest Mouse, Cage the Elephant, The War On Drugs, Tweedy, Houndmouth, and Portugal. The Man. The festival will also feature several late night shows including Talib Kweli and The Floozies.
With their new album The Waterfall due out on May 4, My Morning Jacket brings their 2015 World Tour to the intimate Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theatre Monday, August 3rd, 2015 / 8:30PM. Tickets are on sale Friday, March 13th /10AM.
