Another weekend in the Denver Metro area has come to a close and was once again filled with epic, sold out shows that brought music lovers by the thousands to our most favored venues. Red Rocks saw two great nights of the annual Tedeschi Trucks Band, while Planet Bluegrass hosted their annual RockyGrass Festival, celebrating their 50th, and bringing all manner of living legends out for the birthday festivities.
Chef/Owner Justin Cucci has announced the reopening of downtown Denver’s acclaimed restaurant, bar, and music venue, Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox. Two years laying in wait, Ophelia’s can once again provide a unique dining and entertainment experience while adhering to ongoing health and safety recommendations. Restaurant, bar service, and live performances are scheduled to resume late spring. After two years of imposed live music celibacy, O’s is ready to rock hard and DTF !! (Down To Funk).

Aron Magner from the Disco Biscuits is set to make his solo debut on Thursday, April 7th at Denver ‘s premiere music venue Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox. He will perform a live synth set of classic Biscuit songs and exploratory improvisation on a grand piano. Joining Magner is @djwmusic (Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe / Shots Fired) who will be opening the show on solo guitar. Tickets are available here.
For the last couple of weeks, the talented and notorious Robinson Brothers have been making their way westward on their Brothers of a Feather Tour, playing intimate venues on two continents and showing audiences that neither has lost their love for music, the road, nor each other. With tickets going on sale February 10th, all 11 dates were sold out by day’s end and many venues, within minutes.
The Deadphish Orchestra is a quartet of Colorado musicians who, above all, are close friends who have played music together for many years. They had played Grateful Dead songs together, and they had played Phish songs together. But they got to wondering what would happen if they tried to merge the music of these two bands, the Granddaddies and Daddies of the jamband scene.
