Phish is pleased to announce The Clifford Ball, the highly anticipated 7-DVD Box Set documenting Phish's landmark concert event that drew more than 70,000 fans to upstate New York in August 1996. The collection is available for pre-order now at Phish Dry Goods and will hit stores March 3rd.
Phish will perform ten concerts this coming June. The shows kick off with a two night stand at Jones Beach in Wantagh, NY June 4-5 and wrap up at Alpine Valley in East Troy, WI on June 20-21. Stops along the way include a return to the Fabulous Fox Theatre in St. Louis on June 16 and the band's first show at the Asheville Civic Center in Asheville, NC on June 9.
After a standout show on 12/29/97, the band gave a loose, funky performance on the second night of their three-night stand at Madison Square Garden. The band came out of the gates smoking on night three of a four-show holiday tour on December 30th with "Sneakin' Sally Thru The Alley" > "Taste".
Recorded Live February 19th, 20th and 21st, 1993, this run at the intimate Roxy Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia set the stage for many classic tripartite celebrations to follow. With the second show's near-instant legendary status cemented among fans due largely to a non-stop thriller of a second set which included feats of rock and roll greatness, including a sit-in by a spurious Gene Simmons, At The Roxy captures a magical moment for Phish and their audience during a period of peak songwriting and experimentation.
There is a certain feeling I get before a Phish or a Trey show that is unlike any other pre-show feeling. I don't know why, but it almost feels like it's my show that I'm preparing for. Everything has to be right. I have to be on time, in my spot, with everything that I need. I probably acquired these survival skills during ten years of Phish Jedi touring.

Phish and JEMP Records will release the complete three nights of music from the Roxy Theatre—six sets featuring 78 unique songs with two special guests and only one repeat spread over eight CDs—as "Phish: At The Roxy", available in stores everywhere on November 18.
Trey exorcised a lot of demons in 5 short days. He began a headlining tour for the first time since getting sober, in the city at the center of the universe, no less. He returned to his adopted home state, the prodigal son coming full circle, back to the city the he and his band mates put on the map as the musical Mecca of the northeast in the early 90's.
