Railroad Earth

Get ready for one seriously B.A.D. day this summer! The inaugural BAD Day Music & Arts Festival is set to take over Wilmington’s historic Brooklyn Arts District on Saturday, July 12, 2025. With three outdoor stages, a stacked musical lineup, local makers, food and beverage vendors, yoga and wellness offerings, and more, BAD Day promises to be an unforgettable one-day celebration of music, art, and community.

DelFest, the premier bluegrass and roots music festival founded and hosted by bluegrass icon Del McCoury and his family is turning up the heat for 2025 with the announcement of its highly anticipated late night lineup.

This summer’s soundtrack is set as Railroad Earth, Yonder Mountain String Band and Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country team up for a series of dates that are all about open roads, late-night jams and the spirit of live music.

Over two decades ago, Railroad Earth burst onto the jamgrass scene with their distinctive fusion of bluegrass instrumentation, rock ‘n’ roll spirit, and improvisational verve. Their deep ties to Colorado have been evident from the start—think sold-out shows at the Fox Theatre and Boulder Theater, as well as unforgettable nights at Red Rocks.

On January 18, while presenting a collective “rainbow full of sound,” Greensky Bluegrass and Railroad Earth left no doubt that they still possess the character, proficiency, relevance, and charisma that have kept them among the most notable of the so-called “jam bands” in the land for the past 20-plus years.

Railroad Earth is set to dive into 2025 with a winter tour, kicking off in just two weeks. Renowned for their electrifying live performances and genre-defying sound, the band is eager to hit the road and share their unique blend of bluegrass, rock, and Americana with fans across the West.

Railroad Earth's Horn O' Plenty at the beloved Sherman Theater has become an annual Thanksgiving weekend tradition cherished by both the band and their fans. This two-night event typically features support from Pennsylvania-based bluegrass, folk, and Americana bands, offering a unique opportunity for the Northeast PA community to show their love for live music.

88.5 KGNU is thrilled to present Railroad Earth at the iconic Boulder Theater on Thursday, February 20, 2025. Join the celebrated New Jersey septet for an unforgettable evening of eloquent songcraft, bluegrass soul, and rock ‘n’ roll spirit.
