The iconic Blue Note Jazz Club is expanding to Los Angeles, bringing the legendary reputation of its renowned New York flagship to the heart of L.A.’s dynamic music scene. Designed specifically for Los Angeles, the new venue will offer an intimate atmosphere and programming similar to its New York counterpart: world-class jazz performances from celebrated icons, rising stars, and genre-defying collaborations that reflect the evolution of jazz. The club is set to open its doors in March 2025.

Today, Glasshaus Presents is thrilled to celebrate Black Music Month with the release of Live at Glasshaus, a mid-career retrospective of Grammy-winning artist Bilal featuring Questlove, Common, Robert Glasper, and Burniss Travis. The live record presents Bilal within an ensemble of luminaries to reimagine standouts from his classic repertoire, shining a spotlight on his ever-evolving artistry that asserts, in 2024, he is at the height of his powers, eternally honing his craft and finding new edges in his voice.

The Blue Note Jazz Festival is set to present the new iteration of its Napa Valley series: The Black Radio Experience, curated by Grammy-award-winning pianist, producer, and songwriter Robert Glasper. The 2022 Blue Note Jazz Festival in Napa Valley, marking the first-ever Blue Note Jazz Festival presented as an outdoor, multi-day/multi-stage event, made its unforgettable, sold-out debut this past weekend at Charles Krug Winery in St. Helena, CA. With its electrifying mix of top-tier hip hop, jazz and comedy performances set amid the laid-back beauty of California wine country, the festival provided a unique and intimate experience for its 6,000 attendees.

Today, Blue Note Jazz Festival announces a special Miami Beach Beach Pop Up in partnership with The Rhythm Foundation. Taking place over the first two weekends in June at the North Beach Bandshell, the pop-up will feature headline performances from George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Robert Glasper and special guests, and Buika.

Today, four-time Grammy-winning pianist, composer, and producer Robert Glasper announced a pair of one-off, visually immersive live streams presented in partnership with On Air. The first show, Robert Glasper Electric Trio, will air on Friday, October 8 at 8pm EDT, PDT, BST* & AEST* (*October 9) with guests Burniss Travis, Justin Tyson, and DJ Jahi Sundance sitting in with Glasper on stage.

Today, New York City’s Blue Note Jazz Club announces the return of multi-Grammy Award-winning artist Robert Glasper to the Blue Note stage for a stacked “Robtober” Fall residency. From October 1 to November 7, Glasper will perform a total of 66 shows across 33 nights, including Halloween weekend. The run of shows continues Blue Note’s historic 40th anniversary festivities.
