Sarah Jarosz

Undercurrent, the fourth album from acclaimed GRAMMY nominated singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Sarah Jarosz will be released on June 17th via Sugar Hill Records.  Undercurrent features a newfound confidence and a more minimalist production, focused on Jarosz’s upfront vocals and most personal songwriting to date.

We were so excited with Sarah Jarosz’s performance at this year’s Forecastle Music Festival that we had to catch-up with her after the weekend. Sarah Jarosz is currently touring in support of her new album Build Me up from Bones. Although she is only twenty-one years old and a recent college graduate, she is extremely accomplished in the world of music.

Last weekend Louisville, Kentucky hosted the eleventh annual Forecastle Festival on the banks of the Ohio River. Over 75,000 fans, four stages, 65 musical acts and one festival evacuation made for an exciting weekend. With live music comes the element of surprise and it was plentiful this year. Unfortunate cancellations were made by acts Animal Collective, Dan Deacon, and Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings due to illness and the threat of powerful thunderstorms shifted the schedules during two day of the event.

Build Me Up From Bones, the third release from acclaimed 22-year-old singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Sarah Jarosz, is set to drop October 1st via Sugar Hill Records.

Sugar Hill Records is pleased to announce that it will unveil three new, exclusive releases for Record Store Day (April 20).
