The iconic music project Rhythms Del Mundo, featuring a Cuban re-imagination of Coldplay’s “Clocks,” U2’s “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” and Sting’s “Fragilidad,” is now available for streaming. PRESS HERE to listen.

Today, JAZZ HOUSE KiDS announced world-renowned singer-songwriter, musician, actor, activist and 17-time GRAMMY-winner Sting as the special guest for the RALPH PUCCI  8th Annual Jazz Set, The Lowdown: Conversations with Christian® on February 28, 2024.

Sting will perform alongside eight-time GRAMMY-winning virtuosic bassist and JAZZ HOUSE Artistic Director Christian McBride. The two will deliver a once-in-a-lifetime evening, performing together, trading stories, and celebrating Sting’s illustrious career.

Forty-six years after he came out of Newcastle, England, with mates Andy Summers and Steward Copeland to form The Police, Sting delivered on April 12 a triumphant performance of Police songs and Sting solo material at the intimate and classy, 2,500-capacity Hard Rock Live venue, 35 miles north of Sacramento.   

A&M/UMe celebrates the 30th-anniversary of Sting’s fourth solo album, Ten Summoner’s Tales, with a digital-only Expanded Edition released today. Originally released on March 1, 1993, the album title is a somewhat tongue-in-cheek mashup of the artist’s given surname, Sumner, and a character in Geoffrey Chaucer’s 15th-century literary classic The Canterbury Tales, the summoner.

Today, A&M/UMe releases a digital-only 35th-Anniversary Expanded Edition of Sting’s stunning second solo album, ...Nothing Like the Sun. The album title was lovingly adopted from Shakespeare’s Sonnet No. 130 (“My mistress’ eyes are nothing like the sun”).

“I always think like a singer when I play a Sting melody,” says acoustic guitarist extraordinaire TOMMY EMMANUEL, who today (August 4) releases his video for “Fields of Gold,” a stirring all-instrumental cover of the Sting gem he recorded with British acoustic guitar virtuoso Mike Dawes. The song is featured on the upcoming five-song EP from TOMMY with Dawes, ACCOMPLICE SERIES VOL. 3, due out September 23 on CGP SOUNDS.

Today, Sting, 17-time GRAMMY Award-winning musician, releases a new version of “Por Su Amor” - the Spanish language adaptation of his song “For Her Love,” which appears on his most recent album, The Bridge - with a spin: a duet with one of Latin pop’s rising stars: Mexican singer-songwriter KURT.
