Vintage Trouble
Known for their bombastic, groove-infested R&B and rollicking retro rock vibe, Vintage Trouble has announced the release of its sobering, new social distanced-inspired single “Outside-In” on all DSPs starting May 1.
Frontman Ty Taylor says that the song was written to shine a light on the mental health effects of isolation amidst the pandemic and was inspired by conversations with loved ones in quarantine and recent study of the work of Maya Angelou.

Vintage Trouble came home to Hollywood to rock a sold-out crowd of adulate fans at the Troubadour nightclub. Lead singer Ty Taylor sang and danced like the ghost of James Brown, while guitarist Nalle Colt, bassist Rick Barrio Dill, and drummer Richard Danielson jammed blues rock like ZZ Top. Well, that might be a stretch, but not much of one and you get the idea. The band features a retro sound full of classic R&B, Soul and Blues rock riffs.

The Los Angeles-formed Vintage Trouble consists of vocalist Ty Taylor, guitarist Nalle Colt, bassist Rick Barrio Dill, drummer Richard Danielson and newcomer extraordinaire Brian London on keys. Their youthful flair for performance was immediately apparent on their 2011 debut, “The ‘Bomb Shelter Sessions’ and then peaked on ‘The Swing Acoustic Sessions’ (2014) and most recent chestnut ‘1 Hopeful Road’ (2015). It’s hard to believe that it was only a decade ago that they first performed live.
