Fans of the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame group THE ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND will be excited to hear Peach Picks: Cream Of The Crop 2003, a collection of the best performances culled from six shows in July and August 2003. Set for release May 16 via the band's Peach Records (Orchard distribution), the collection includes 36 tracks recorded between July 25 and August 10, 2003 in Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Darien Center, NY, Hartford, Charlotte and Raleigh, with no song repeated.

Another Summer Camp Music Festival has come and gone, and while every weekend spent at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, IL beholds something different, this weekend had an extra-special feeling to it that was hard to put your finger on. Maybe it was the seemingly yearly re-occurring thunder storm that rolled through the festival grounds mid-afternoon Friday, soaking the grounds and bringing out the inner-child in the crowd as fans stomped through the puddles with their rain boots.

Following the announcement of their eagerly anticipated 10th studio album, American rock band Gov’t Mule have confirmed their return to the UK in October this year. The band will be heading to Ireland to play a show in Dublin before coming to the UK for four dates in Edinburgh, Manchester, Cardiff and London.

Last Thanksgiving was the 40th anniversary of perhaps the most important concert event in rock ’n’ roll history.  The Last Waltz was promoter Bill Graham’s grandest achievement of his career. Pulling off an unprecedented pre-show Thanksgiving dinner for a couple thousand lucky attendees for what was said to be The Band’s final concert at the legendary Winterland Auditorium in San Francisco.

The opulent and ornate Orpheum Theater located in the original theater district of downtown Los Angeles played host to a very special concert, Thursday night April 13. The Last Waltz 40 Tour, billed as a celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Last Waltz concert by The Band, was originally meant to only be a one-time tribute concert in New Orleans.

Blackbird Presents is proud to announce its annual “Second Weekend at the Saenger” concert series with “New Orleans Is Waiting For Columbus,” set to take place Saturday, May 6th at New Orleans’ historic Saenger Theatre. The all-star event celebrates Little Feat’s most beloved album in their expansive catalog with never-before-heard performances from a unique lineup of artists including musical director Warren Haynes, Jamey Johnson, Dave Malone, John Medeski, Don Was, Terence Higgins, Mark Mullins and many more special guests to be announced.

Garth Hudson, one of two remaining original members of THE BAND, will be joining Warren Haynes, Dr. John, Jamey Johnson and Don Was on the second leg of the 2017 “LAST WALTZ 40 TOUR.” Hudson will be joining all Texas and California dates to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of The Band’s historical farewell concert.

Hudson, the iconic multi-instrumentalist has been credited by his band members and brothers Robbie, Levon, Rick, and Richard for being the resident musical genius of The Band and helped create their unmistakable sound.

It may seem as if the 40th anniversary of The Band’s Last Waltz has been going on forever, with various combinations of musicians paying homage to that seminal 1976 concert in a variety of ways.
