Today, Peter One, a 67 year old country-folk musician originally from Cote d’Ivoire now living in Nashville as a US citizen, announces his major label debut solo album Come Back To Me, set for release May 5, on Verve Records. His debut single “Birds Go Die Out Of Sight (Don’t Go Home)” featuring Allison Russell and telling the complex story of yearning to return home as an immigrant, is out today.

The 18nd Annual Music Of fundraising performance, produced by Michael Dorf Presents, will spotlight the work of Paul McCartney and take place March 15, 2023 at one of the world’s most venerated venues, Carnegie Hall. McCartney’s music has been bringing people together for decades as a member of the Beatles, Wings,  and an acclaimed solo artist.

Last night, Aoife O'Donovan —who is nominated for 3 GRAMMYs this year for her album Age Of Apathy —was joined by Allison Russell for a performance of their song "Prodigal Daughter" on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Orange Blossom Revue has announced the daily lineups for its eighth annual event taking place Friday and Saturday, December 2-3, 2022 at Lake Wailes Park in central Florida. Host band The Wood Brothers have hand-selected country mainstay Margo Price to lead Friday’s lineup alongside soulful troubadour Langhorne Slim, enchanting retro-pop sensation Neal Francis, and breakout star Katie Pruitt. Farm Aid's annual benefit concert took place at the Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek in Raleigh, NC on September 24th.  The sold-out crowd was treated to sets by headliner Willie Nelson and co-founder John Mellencamp, board members Dave Matthews and Margo Price, and featured artists Sheryl Crow and Chris Stapleton, among others. One significant absence at this year's event was co-founder Neil Young.

Today, Sound Mind Live announces the fourth annual Sound Mind Music Festival for Mental Health, presented this year as a live, outdoor event at New York City’s famed Central Park on May 21 at 4pm. Featuring performances by Cold War Kids, Big Boi, American Authors, KAMAUU, Wrabel, and Allison Russell, the festival is hosted by comedian Gina Brillon. For the first time, the event will be livestreamed on TikTok.
