Colorado Symphony

Any event surrounding the Star Wars legacy is sure to be an intergalactic extravaganza. If one combines that with the power of the forward thinking Colorado Symphony, they are left with a sonic experience that is truly out of this world. This symphony has been hot as of late. Within the last few years, they have expanded their reach in the music world. They have collaborated with acts such as the Flaming Lips, Jethro Tull, Warren Haynes playing the music of Jerry Garcia, as well as the music of the late Michael Jackson and John Denver.

The music and history of Michael Jackson is legendary to say the least. Everything that the King of Pop ever performed was gold. His hard work and dedication to his craft made him one of the greatest entertainers of all time.

The concert will feature a solid collection of the best-known Tull repertoire from 1968 to date. Fans will recognize the key songs from various albums - songs which put Jethro Tull and Ian Anderson on the map in the late ‘60s and early ‘70s - with most of them accompanied by big screen HD video elements to enhance the concert experience.

On a paradisiacal Denver day for a special concert celebration, John Denver’s former band mates and his friends gathered along with the versatile Colorado Symphony to pay tribute to the Poet Laureate of the state at Boettcher Concert Hall in Denver. There was a large screen visible with John Denver often singing to an enduring older crowd often singing along.

While we continue the wild ride to finish the amazing successes of the 2015/16 season we're just too excited about our next season's fantastic offerings!
