Earlier this year, Bozeman, Montana’s Kitchen Dwellers released their third full-length album Wise River. This past Sunday, July 3 following Billy Strings’ performance at Pier Six Pavillion in the Baltimore Harbor, the grammy-winning flat picker surprised fans by making a guest appearance at the Dwellers’ after-party at the 8x10.

Ahead of a jam-packed cross-country summer tour that includes festivals and concerts, Kitchen Dwellers released their latest album, Wise River, on Friday, April 29.

Beer, Bluegrass, Mountains: The WinterWonderGrass-Tahoe festival’s first venture in three years – thanks, COVID — succeeded with flying colors, April 1 to 3. The fest location, adjacent to Olympic Village, which was the site of the 1960 Winter Olympics, was the first festival of the year for many, and brought a distinctive assemblage of mountaintop adventure-seekers for a sweet conglomeration of jam-happy roots and bluegrass music, pleasing craft brews, and mountain views.

Kitchen Dwellers are thrilled to share “Sundown” - the newest song to be released off the band’s forthcoming album Wise River. "I had been working on this riff for quite a while in a sort of banjo-metal fashion,” Torrin Daniels told Relix. “I wrote the lyrics during those “peak quarantine” days in the spring of 2020, and the verses definitely reflect my mental state at the time.
