The time honored tradition of bands playing after Phish was alive and well in Denver, Colorado, as not one, but two bands kept the party going upon the conclusion of the Dick's Sporting Good Stadium event at both Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom and Cervantes Other Side last Friday night.
Goth music fans descended on the majestic YouTube Theater for a rare performance by electronic music pioneers Soft Cell. Along with a handful of other experimental pioneers in the genre, like Gary Numan and Depeche Mode, Soft Cell helped create the music that would become the soundtrack of the 1980’s new wave dance music genre.

For many, Labor Day weekend always means a three-day weekend for the hard working, but for the jamband community, it always means Phish is going to blow minds and melt faces just outside the Mile High City. Although this staple has been reenacted now eleven times since 2011, this year got a little something extra: a fourth night. This attribute is something phans have been rumoring, wishing, begging, and pleading for on message boards and in conversation for quite some time and 2022 was finally the year the dream came true.

One of the last surviving members of the Triumvirate of American Funk Godfathers, George Clinton, brought an army of Funk-inspired musicians to the new YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California. Along with James Brown and Sly Stone, the 82-year-old Clinton is considered one of the founders of the Funk music genre. The concert was the final lap of the One Nation Under a Groove Tour, billed as George Clinton and P Funk’s farewell tour.
