Between The String Cheese Incident’s impressive Hulaween performances at Suwannee Music Park, gearing up for what’s sure to be a spectacular three-night New Year’s run out in Colorado, not to mention EOTO’s seemingly non-stop touring schedule, it’s safe to say Jason Hann is quite a busy musician.

The first annual Suwannee Hulaween at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida united several very different kinds of people and art in unexpected ways. Detachable hoodies with chain ties, logo pins, college kids, thumping Apple controlled bass tangoed with tie dye hippies, weed, classic rock, bluegrass and, yes, real wooden instruments all twirled together drenched in bold color and sound in a mystical forest setting.

Unlike the Martha White “self-rising” flour, it takes more than one ingredient, or individual, to lift the spirits of communities affected by natural disasters. On a brisk night in Boulder, Hot Rize brought together a closely linked ensemble of local musicians to do just that. Recognized as a bluegrass-haven, Boulder County hosts an array of talented musicians.

Gather your tribe and deck yourself out in Voodoo flavor because Suwannee Hulaween has unveiled its spooktacular schedule for the inaugural festival taking place October 31 – November 2, 2013 at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL. Featuring no overlapping sets, fans won’t have to miss a single moment of music, also giving them plenty of time to explore the grounds.

The inaugural Suwannee Hulaween has added new artists to the lineup including Eliot Lipp (live band & DJ set), Up Until Now (with special guests), The Main Squeeze, The Heard, Catfish Alliance and Come Back Alice along with several DJs including Manic Focus, Thibault, Prophet Massive, Vlad the Inhaler, Sir Charles, Satoru and DJ Jody Litvack to man the late night Silent Disco.This new batch

The EOTO performance scheduled for the Mishawaka this weekend has been moved to the Aggie Theater due to road closures. In light of the recent local disaster, the band has also decided to donate proceeds from the event to assist the local community via the Red Cross.
