Using the songs created by the most iconic musicians in rock history, The Rock and Roll Playhouse offers its core audience of babies and kids games, movement, and stories and an opportunity to rock out.

The late Tom Petty would have celebrated his 68th birthday, tomorrow, October 20, and to pay tribute to the legendary rocker, who passed away a year ago on October 2, his long-time friend and former record label radio promo man, Jon Scott, has published his new book, Tom Petty and Me: My Rock ‘n’ Roll Adventures with Tom Petty

On the one-year anniversary of his passing, The Lumineers today release their version of Tom Petty's "Walls." "Tom Petty is a musical hero of mine, and 'Walls' is such an incredible song," shares the band's Wesley Schultz, continuing "When I got married, my wife walked down the aisle to the song."

Keller Williams has announced a new Tom Petty-inspired project titled ‘Keller Williams’ 'PettyGrass’, which finds him performing select covers in a rollicking bluegrass style alongside eclectic bluegrass quintet The Hillbenders. The project began in 2015, when Williams put together a set of Petty covers for his annual hometown S.P.C.A. benefit, recording the rehearsals as voice memos on his phone. After Tom Petty’s shocking passing last year, Williams and his longtime collaborator Jeff Covert enhanced these recordings and posted them as a tribute to the legend’s legacy and inspiration.
