“What Matters Most” is the newest single from soul-slinging Sam Pace and the Gilded Grit. Inspired by a line from Charles Bukowski, the new track is meant to evoke the funky, fighting spirit.  "What Matters Most" is a karate chop to the throat of the bad vibrations of coronavirus and malaise in general.

Before the COVID situation hit, Sam spent three months on the road with Triumph Motorcycles.  Acting as their Artist In Residence, he performed acoustic sets and DJed in forty-five cities coast to coast.

Since the end of March, Sam has focused on finishing a handful of new singles- including this one- and growing his presence on YouTube.  This month he debuted the first season of his new video series “The Sam Pace Memoirs” (https://youtu.be/v3N2j2hdpMg), and began work on his new video podcast Waiting For The Encore, which focuses on discourse within the music community.
