“What matters most is how well you walk through the fire.” Borrowing the monumental last lines of a Charles Bukowski poem, Sam Pace’s new single underscores the way you behave during challenging times defines your true character. It’s that simple. Yet sadly, decent decorum has been completely disregarded contributing to appalling, irresponsible, disheartening conduct, negatively impacting society. Thankfully, all hope is not lost. Pace’s new track, “What Matters Most,” propagates a critical message.
“What Matters Most” is the newest single from soul-slinging Sam Pace and the Gilded Grit. Inspired by a line from Charles Bukowski, the new track is meant to evoke the funky, fighting spirit. "What Matters Most" is a karate chop to the throat of the bad vibrations of coronavirus and malaise in general.
Before the COVID situation hit, Sam spent three months on the road with Triumph Motorcycles. Acting as their Artist In Residence, he performed acoustic sets and DJed in forty-five cities coast to coast.
