This one's truly all about the music! We're pleased to add the Municipal Auditorium, Nashville, TN, April 22, 1978 to list of "officially released" Grateful Dead shows. A spitfire of a performance that helps mark the band's "end-of-1977 sound," we find the seven firing on all cylinders, hitting high notes on crowd-pleasers like "Bertha>Good Lovin'" and "Jack Straw" in the first set and on "Not Fade Away">"Wharf Rat">"Sugar Magnolia" in the second, lest we forget to mention one of the finest versions of "Wharf Rat" ever performed.

Last Friday I had the pleasure of attending the Greener Grounds “Photosynthesis” EP release party at the 1Up Colfax in Denver, CO. Brooklyn natives, High & Mighty Brass Band are thrilled to release the first of their two part EP and second effort, "KREWE YORK: PART I" on Friday, July 24, 2015. Recorded almost completely live to capture the true essence of their show at The Bunker in Williamsburg, NY, the EP will showcase 4 original tracks and a classic cover tune. The EP features music written by the band's drummer and bandleader, Evan Howard as well as an interlude by trumpeter Ivan Jackson.
