Experiencing these musicians in one of the most beautiful places to see live music, the Chautauqua Auditorium in Boulder, CO was a wonderful experience and a memory that will stay. The landscapes that surround the foothills of Boulder make an aesthetic canvas for a perfect evening. There were people having picnics on the lawn, while others threw Frisbees under the setting sun.

Having just played a triumphant and powerful Bonnaroo performance this past weekend, Robert Plant and the Sensational Space are far from ready to stop touring in support of what many critics are calling his greatest solo album, lullaby and...The Ceaseless Roar (Nonesuch/Warner Bros). Today, the band is announcing new fall dates, including two shows at Lockn' Music Festival, as well as rescheduled ones to make up for last week's postponed shows in Toronto, Detroit and Chicago. Tickets already purchased will be honored at the rescheduled shows.

Real Gone Music is turning up the heat this Summer with a release schedule that just might be the most illustrious one in its proud history. Leading off is another one of the label’s patented singles collection, this time focusing on the long-lost single sides of Steppenwolf, 38 songs strong and assembled after a worldwide search for the best audio sources, with track-by-track commentary by band leader and vocalist John Kay. The label then stays in the singles groove with a two-CD, 50-track set featuring the Atco/Atlantic singles of the late, great Ben E. King.

The third annual Beanstalk Music and Arts Festival returned to the State Bridge Amphitheater in Bond, Colorado this past May, proving once again that The Magic Beans, perfect Colorado weather, and a slew of other incredible acts are the perfect recipe for a fun-filled weekend. The Magic Beans played all three nights, filling State Bridge with their mixed-genre, upbeat space funk.

On Thursday, July 2, 2015, New York-based band Founders will released its debut album, You & Who, featuring original songs and innovative arrangements by members Ben Russell, Brandon Ridenour, and Hamilton Berry, and will be celebrating with an album release concert at Rockwood Music Hall (96 Allen St.) that day at 7pm.
