The legendary Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, NY hosted two very different, but incredibly talented jam bands on Saturday, April 27, 2024. The Motet, a six-piece funk band from Denver, CO, was in the headliner time slot, with Lespecial, the prog rock power trio from Southern Connecticut as the opener. Both bands brought a lot of fun, jam-rock energy, albeit from very different musical perspectives.

On Friday, November 25th, virtuosic guitarist Marcus Rezak will perform a special Friendsgiving show with an all-star lineup at the legendary Troubadour in West Hollywood, California.

The Denver, Co based funk and soul ensemble The Motet brought a fiery dance party to the jam friendly Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, NY last Friday night as part of their Don't Keep On Stoppin' tour. They were accompanied by percussionist Mike Dillon, who is a veteran of the jam rock scene. Currently, the band is focused on instrumental sounds and reconnecting with their jazz improvisational roots.

If you have not heard of Katharsis yet, consider this your warning to get on the bandwagon fast. This super group is the latest installment of power, brilliance, and diversity of music led by band leader of the Motet and Felabration, drummer Dave Watts.

When you bring a together a cast of musicians steeped in different backgrounds for the sole purpose of creating on-stage spontaneity, you have an improvisational outfit. The Everyone Orchestra, conducted by ringleader Matt Butler, is exactly that. The difference between your typical jam band and an improvisational outfit is that the latter shows up to the show with no songbook.

The Everyone Orchestra is thrilled to announce a return to Colorado, May 18th through May 21st, 2013 in Fort Collins, Gunnison and Denver, CO.

Live Nation is pleased to present THE MOTET at The Fillmore Auditorium on Saturday, April 20. Special guests OZOMATLI, Soul Rebels Brass Band and DJ Mikey Thunder will open the show.
