Infamous Stringdusters

As February’s kick-off of WinterWonderGrass 2020 grows closer, the festival is excited to share the official daily schedule for their Colorado edition, taking place February 21st - 23rd in Steamboat Springs, CO. One of the biggest delights includes the announcement of a second headlining performance by Billy Strings, who will now play the main stage on both Friday and Sunday nights.

DelFest, the festival brainchild of Del McCoury and his extended McCoury family now in its 13th year, in partnership with High Sierra Music, announced an initial star-studded lineup today. Held at the Allegany County Fairgrounds in beautiful Cumberland, MD, DelFest originated from the desire to create a family-friendly music festival celebrating the rich legacy of McCoury music while creating a forum for world-class musical collaborations and to showcase fresh new talent.

Kitchen Dwellers are pleased to share the latest edition to their catalog, Muir Maid, which was completely fan-funded through a successful Kickstarter campaign. Produced by Chris Pandolfi of The Infamous Stringdusters, Muir Maid is the first record where all four members contributed to the songwriting collaboratively, citing diverse musical influences from Metallica, classical and jazz music to Bela Fleck and beyond.

Colorado Bluegrass/Newgrass/Grassicana quintet WOOD BELLY is preparing to release their forthcoming sophomore album, Man On The Radio, on January 31, 2020. The band first broke the exciting news exclusively with Bluegrass Today and is wasting no time in offering listeners a sneak-peek of the project; the first single, "Can't Get Behind," featuring special guest fiddler Jeremy Garrett of The Infamous Stringdusters, is available now on all digital platforms.

The Infamous Stringdusters have had quite the substantial last week or so, starting off with their Halloween escapades at the beginning of last weekend in which they were able to jam with none other than G. Love of Special Sauce. This past Monday night, the band was featured as part of the incredible celebration What The Night Brings, the musical tribute to the late mandolin master Jeff Austin, with whom of course The Stringdusters had befriended and performed beside many times.

Today, the WinterWonderGrass Music & Brew Festival shares the 2020 lineup across all three of their flagship events. Taking place in Colorado from February 21st - 23rd, California from March 27th - 29th and Vermont from April 10th - 11th, the traveling music festival will welcome performances from some of the hottest names currently thriving in today’s Bluegrass and Americana music scenes. 

After a wildly successful Kickstarter campaign, where Kitchen Dwellers crowdsourced more than their goal to support a coming studio effort, the band is pleased to announce the release of Muir Maid, expected out November 8th, 2019.

The Borderland Music and Arts Festival, taking place at Knox Farm State Park in East Aurora, NY, on September 21st and 22nd has announced the daily line-up and the availability of single day tickets. A limited amount of single day festival tickets are available for Saturday and Sunday beginning Friday, June 21st at 9 am.

For the fourth straight week, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass has announced ten more artists for their 2019 festival which takes place in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park on October 4-6. As with past lineup reveals, fans were treated to a sneak-peek audio clip of the soon-to-be-announced artists on HSB’s social media accounts earlier this week. Upon hearing what HSB calls the weekly “artist medley,” fans hypothesized in the comment section about who might be added to the lineup.
