WYNONNA and her band The Big Noise will bring a highly anticipated new tour to fans across the US. The 2017 "Roots & Revival Tour" will explore the past, present and future of WYNONNA's extensive 33-year career.

WYNONNA's live shows are well known not only for the energy of her talented band, but also for the undeniable connection that she has with her audience. The show is part nostalgia, part comedy, and all rich, soulful music featuring WYNONNA's incomparable vocals.

San Francisco’s The New Up is set to release their new album Tiny Mirrors on February 3rd. Politically charged yet intensely introspective, raw in emotion yet cinematic in scope, the band’s new single Falling From The Sky is highlighted by a driving base line and growling guitars. The band comments:

What an honor it was to see one of my favorite bands in one of my very favorite cities, and with some of my very favorite people. This year I traveled my way three hours to Chicago by car then by train to get to the Aragon Ballroom on December 30th, 2016 to see one my favorite bands of all time Umphrey’s McGee.

Let me just say, “Dr. Feel Good’s Traveling Medicine Show” by Great American Taxi sounds just like what I would expect from such a band performing an album with such a name. This is not to say that the album is bad or bland—very far from it—but that this is a “feel good” show that brings together the best elements of what a traveling show might be. And it’s quite the adventure.

There is something undeniably appealing about music that evokes the desert landscapes of the American West. The imagery of sun-soaked plains of dust beneath a never-ending blue sky has pulled at my heartstrings since I first heard the Dead’s “Jack Straw.” This landscape has had a clear influence on psychedelic and improvisational music and provides the inspiration for BIG Something’s fourth album, Tumbleweed. The album is a sonic desert trip, which uses the barren landscapes as a canvas for an introspective journey.

Today, iconoclastic New Orleans-based jazz-funk sextet Naughty Professor release their politically charged song “Darker Daze.” Released with an accompanying video, “Darker Daze” is the second single release from Naughty Professor’s forthcoming 2017 album Identity, and features a unique collaboration with legendary hip-hop artist Chali 2na (Jurassic 5) as well as a guest appearance by fellow New Orleans guitarist/vocalist Dexter Gilmore. Also released today, the first leg of Naughty Professor’s 2017 Winter and Spring Tour.
