The news of the GD memorabilia auction (September 8th at 10 am central time) has brought more amazing items out of storage to be offered.  Do you want Jerry’s 1988 Bay Area Music Awards “Guitarist of the Year” statue?  A first printing of the very first “Skull and Roses” Avalon poster created by Kelley and Mouse (with thanks to Edmund Fitzgerald, who designed the artwork for an edition of The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayam)?  Fare Thee Well laminates?

East-coast jam masters, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead brought their inventive interpretation of Grateful Dead music to a sold-out, typically relaxed but receptive crowd at Eugene’s (Ore.) McDonald Theater, August 11. Many locals were getting their first look at the heavily hyped combo from New York.

The 14th Annual Last Waltz - Revisited will showcase members of Polytoxic together with 50+ musicians from across Colorado; this show has become an annual tradition, bringing the community together to kick-off the holiday season. The musicians will perform the music of The Band and will celebrate the 42nd Anniversary of The Band’s historical performance, The Last Waltz. To celebrate the last 14 years of our performance, we have added special guests and additional songs from years past as well.

Envy Alo, a six-piece funk outfit based in Boulder, CO, is set to release a new full-length LP “Cruise Control” on September 14, 2018. In partnership with Denver’s Renegade Brewing Company, the band will launch a curated beer called “Envy Brut IPA” during an Album Release Party at Renegade’s Denver taproom on Friday, September 14.
