ALO is heading east. Known for their annual Tour D’Amour of California and the Pacific Northwest, ALO has heard their fans’ requests and are heading east for two big weekends this fall. First up the band will be visiting New York, Philadelphia, D.C., Boston and Pawling, NY. in October. November will feature a visit to Colorado’s front range for shows in Boulder and Denver where the band will be joined by fellow Californians Tea Leaf Green.
ALO is more than a band. It’s a musical relationship that has endured for over two decades. While the band sometimes takes time off to work on various side projects, ALO has always been their main home. Zach Gill (keys/vocals) continues to tour the world with the band’s college pal Jack Johnson; Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz (guitar/vocals) played shows with the Grateful Dead’s Phil Lesh; Steve Adams (bass/vocals) toured and recorded with Nicki Bluhm & the Gramblers; Dave Brogan (drums/vocals) joined up with Utah band, Mokie. Brogan is currently taking a break from touring, so the drum throne for these shows will be filled by Ezra Lipp (Music In The Other, Sean Hayes). On this upcoming run, he band will be performing originals from their extensive catalog, as well as a selection of covers that have become live staples for the band.
Tickets are on sale this Friday at 10 AM Local time.
