Today, Atmosphere announced that they will close out the summer of 2025 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO. Atmosphere & Friends will take place on Friday, September 19 and feature performances by Hieroglyphics, Dilated Peoples, Living Legends, Immortal Technique, CunninLynguists, and DeejayBird. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 21 at 10 AM local time via atmospheresucks.com.

“I’m high above the moon about this year’s lineup of artists. These are my friends, my colleagues, my culture,” shares Slug. “Parties like this are the reason we make parties. Thank you for participating.” This show will serve as Red Rocks Amphitheatre’s final event of the summer 2025 season.

Atmosphere will also embark on a series of tour stops beforehand, beginning at Bongwalk Empire in Atlantic City, NJ, alongside Cypress Hill, Dilated Peoples, and The Pharcyde. The duo will continue on to the Cali Roots Festival in Monterey, CA, followed by scheduled performances at Vans Warped Tour in Washington, D.C. and Long Beach, CA. They will also appear in Redmond, OR for Rise Up Oregon. See the full list of tour dates below.

Meanwhile, Atmosphere’s Anthony Davis (AKA Ant) has had a productive year, releasing a suite of solo records entitled Collection of Sounds: Volume 1 – 4. The albums consist of unreleased material from his vault, offering a new window into his decades-long career and pushing his artistry to the center. Volume 1, Volume 2, and Volume 3 are currently available, and Volume 4 is slated for release on April 4 via Rhymesayers Entertainment.

In 2024, Atmosphere reissued their 2007 mixtape Strictly Leakage, which was originally pressed in a limited run of vinyl and CDs. After it sold out, fans were left searching for bootlegs and digital files to hear the project. Now, Strictly Leakage has returned as a double-vinyl LP and CD, available through retail distribution for the first time. The duo also made their cult early-2000s mixtape Sad Clown Bad Dub 2 available for the first time ever. Recently, they were featured on The Danny Brown Show podcast, and Slug contributed to The New York Times’ “50 Rappers 50 Stories” in celebration of hip-hop’s 50th anniversary. Throughout 2024, they toured relentlessly in support of their Talk Talk EP (available now via Rhymesayers Entertainment), which evolved from a recording session for the title track, “Talk Talk,” initially featured on their latest LP, So Many Other Realities Exist Simultaneously. Expect more to come from Atmosphere in 2025.

For over two decades, Atmosphere has maintained a course of rigorous output, releasing more than two dozen studio albums, EPs, and collaborative side projects. In that time, the venerated duo built a legacy on honesty, humility, and vulnerability—continually challenging themselves to evolve while staying true to their roots. Slug has proven masterful at weaving compelling narratives, leaving a trail of his own influence while paying homage to the rappers and songwriters who shaped him. Ant has molded their sound with inspiration from soul, funk, rock, reggae, and the wizardry of hip-hop’s pioneering DJs and producers—creating his own trademark styles while providing the pulse for songs about life, love, stress, and setbacks. At its essence, Atmosphere serves as a musical shepherd, guiding generations of listeners through this thing called life.
