Celebrated fiddler, vocalist, and songwriter Becky Buller kicks off 2025 with the release of her empowering new single, “Reach.” Featuring a powerhouse lineup of Alison Brown (banjo), Sierra Hull (mandolin, harmony vocals), Missy Raines (bass), and Molly Tuttle (guitar, harmony vocals), this vibrant track is a testament to collaboration and musical excellence.
Originally penned by Johanna and John Hall and recorded by Orleans, “Reach” was later popularized by New Grass Revival, whose rendition has become a touchstone for Buller. With her reimagining, Buller infuses the song with her signature sound while honoring its deep roots.
“‘Reach’ has become an anthem for me,” shares Buller. “The verses feel like a mirror, reflecting my driven, restless nature. But the chorus? That’s pure liberation—an open-armed call to embrace the dreams I’m chasing. Recording this track stretched me in ways I didn’t expect, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the journey.”
Producer Stephen Mougin praises the collaboration, saying, “Working with Becky and this incredible group of musicians was a privilege. Their reverence for the New Grass Revival version shines through, but they also brought their unique artistry to the track. It’s an infectious song with an uplifting message, and I’m confident listeners will love it.”
