Earth Radio, the dynamic Progressive R&B group hailing from Grand Rapids, has officially launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter for their ambitious new project, If The Earth Could Speak. This endeavor marks the band’s most immersive and collaborative work to date, written and recorded within the span of a week in the serene backdrop of Vermont's countryside.
A Sound Forged in Harmony with Nature
The group's innovative approach to their new EP was grounded in sustainability and a profound connection with the environment. Earth Radio ventured into the rural landscapes of Vermont with minimal equipment, fostering a creative process devoid of pre-written material, familiar studios, or conventional gear. This raw and organic method of music-making was not only a challenge but a testament to the band's commitment to producing art in reciprocity with the earth.
Unity Through Music
If The Earth Could Speak represents a cohesive vision from the entire group, transcending individual voices and emphasizing a unified call to action to honor and protect our planet. The resulting five tracks are a blend of lyrical poignancy and compositional ingenuity, reflecting the complex relationship between humanity and nature. Earth Radio tapped into the local expertise for recording and mastering, with the process carried out in close proximity to the creative space on the farm.
