Denver’s Fillmore is in store for a psy-dub-bass showdown this Holiday season, as perennial electronic favorites EOTO take the stage on December 8th with VibeSquad and NiT GriT. Known for their 100% live improvised performances, EOTO has been carving out their niche as an electronic dubstep dance duo, interweaving live instrumentation, for a unique musical experience night after night. The music event of the season, the Fillmore performance will be loaded with the latest technology in cutting edge eye candy, including works from the luminary artists Alex and Alison Grey along with EOTO’s own one of a kind 3D mapped Lotus flower.
An EOTO performance is a curious musical oddity. Featuring Michael Travis and Jason Hann (known for their work as the rhythm section of the wildly successful String Cheese Incident) the duo takes their experience with live instrumentation into the realm of electronic dance music. Surrounded by a spaceship of high technology contraptions, pedals, keyboards, mixers, lap tops and ipads; they twist and turn each and every note into a wild rhythmic dance party right before your eyes --- making it all up as they go along.
Their music plays out like an epic battle in sci-fi fantasy movie with soaring highs, intergalactic interludes and always filled to the brim with the kind of soul shattering bass that keeps people coming back for more.
Fresh from a string of sold out performances along their fall tour, EOTO will return to their home stomping grounds in Colorado for their first headlining performance at the legendary Fillmore Auditorium. Joining the ranks of Colorado’s recent music projects to blossom from the basement to the mainstream, EOTO is a band to watch in 2013.
As an added bonus, the event will be a fundraiser for Conscious Alliance, a non-profit organization focused on feeding the hungry through organized food drives at music and sporting events around the country. Tickets are on sale now at the EOTO website at www.eotomusic.com and are available at the Fillmore Box Office, or at the Live Nation website.
